This project was done under a Non-Disclosure Agreement
The client for this project is a company working in the Tourism & Leisure industry operating in several markets - Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
Their old website was using TYPO3 as a Content Management System. Despite being enterprise open-source system TYPO3 wasn’t the CMS that could provide the best customer experience and ease of delivering updates to the website.
The client had a request for proposal for a solution with another CMS that could provide them with better overall experience and increase in ROI.
- New site design (front-end)
- Multilingual & Multicountry configuration
- Easily accessible marketing & analytics data
- Front-End development based on bespoke design
- Open-source CMS with no license fees that can provide better experience for content updates
Since the client really liked our profile but still examined several other profiles and had not chosen neither the visuals nor the final CMS technology we had to organise the project in two completely independent stages.
The first stage was to prepare a design brief with the help of one of our partnering UX agencies.
Based on a design brief and Umbraco feature demonstration for the marketing requirements of the company, we proposed Umbraco CMS as the solution that would increase the ROI of the project.
The client really liked the demos and gave us a green light. We begun working on the second stage - a pre-determined set of milestones for the development of the design, front-end and back-end.
Throughout the whole process of developing the new website we were in communication with the client and our partnering UX agency as there were constant adjustments to be made in order to enhance the user experience of the website.
After the completion of the project we provided the client with a detailed PDF guide along with instructional videos on how to manage their site content.
This led to fantastic results for the client and currently we continue to make updates and develop new features when required. During the time the new website has been online the company registered a significant rise in user interactions and 120% increase in conversions.
